We love Northside Festival for so many reasons — we don’t have to leave our hood to see awesome music, there are more great bands than usual playing in Brooklyn, they throw amazing outdoor shows and there’s no Outkast anywhere to be seen. So many reasons. Mostly though, we love Northside because every year about a zillion (ok, like 150+) up-and-coming bands play our favorite venues, and the shows are always a good time. The festival just added a huge amount of acts to the lineup that already included CHVRCHES and Beirut, including perennial Wild Honey Pie favorites Dan Croll, Courtney Barnett, Eagulls, Sharon Van Etten and…Well, how about you just check out the list here. While you are able to get tickets to most of the individual shows, a badge will allow you free access to all Northside shows from June 12th-19th.
