By Jhilmil D Saha @jhilmildsaha
Hi beautifuls, recently while searching the internet I came across an exciting eye shadow palette, which is Dupe:The ADS Balm Nude Tude Palette. The exciting part about the palette is it is almost a replica of the famous theBalm Nude Tude Palette.
About The ADS Balm Nude Tude Palette:
This palette has 12 neutral/nude shades and comes with an inbuilt mirror and an applicator brush.
Price: Rs. 449 Available here
The Similarities with theBalm Nude Tude Palette:
1.The outer packaging is exactly same
2.There is a mirror and brush in both palettes
3.Only shades Sophisticated & Sassy match in name and shade
Dissimilarities with theBalm Nude Tude Palette:
1. The brand names are different
2. The pin-up girls pictures are fully clothed
3. The brush does not have the brand name
4. Some shade names are interchanged:
Original Dupe
Sexy Snobby
Serious Silly
Stand.Offish Selfish
Seductive Sultry
Silly Sleek
Sleek Serious
5. There are no exact shades as Stubborn, Selfish, Snobby and Sultry.
6. Only 3 matte Shades compared to 7 mattes in that of the original.
7. Price Difference of almost Rs.2000
8. The shade indicators at the back of the outer package are that of theBalm Nude Tude Palette
My experience with ADS Balm Nude Tude Palette:
I have not used the original theBalm Nude Tude Palette so I am going to give share my thoughts on the The ADS Balm Nude Tude Palette as an individual palette altogether. I like the shade varieties, although a few more mattes and lighter shades would have helped. I love the vintage packaging. The brush is not that great in quality but at least they have not provided a plain sponge applicator. Some of the shades are very pigmented and gives incredible intensity in just one stroke. But the shade Sassy & Stand.Offish which are mattes and are very chalky and difficult to work with. The shades have high fall off issue. The shades that I love to work with are Stubborn, Sophisticated, Serious and Sultry. So I would recommend using an eye primer. The shade spread can work great on every skin tone and age.
Rating:4/5
For the price of Rs.499 The ADS Balm Nude Tude Palette is a great value for money. Apart from the Fallout issue and some chalkiness in few shades, I did not find any problem and I would say, although there are many shades absent when you compare with theBalm Nude Tude Palette, it is a great dupe to it and worth every penny.
