An email popped into my inbox a couple of weeks ago inviting me to the Grey Goose Boulangerie François van parked in Multrees Walk just outside HN’s … The first thought that went through my head was, wait what ? This looks like a little traditional bread van but it’s, it’s Grey Goose vodka? Hmmm, intrigued I read on and emailed back “yes”, obviously. Basically this Grey Goose Boulangerie van looks like an ordinary bread delivery van but for those invited inside it “will reveal the world’s most intimate martini bar”. You can actually see the bread they make with the same wheat they use for the vodka in the windows of this beautifully polished Boulangerie van. It was designed by restaurant interior expert du jour Shayne Brady and after enjoying a Grey Goose Le Fizz up at the bar in HN’s you’re asked a number of questions about your taste preferences and then your perfectly tailored martini is served. But first, let’s taste the Grey Goose Le Fizz back in my old stomping ground. Utterly delicious and perfect to enjoy at 6pm on a beautifully warm summer’s evening. What’s in them you ask?
