I have already featured MAC St Germain in my MAC lipstick collection post, but seeing as I love it so much, I thought it deserved it’s own post.
This color was one I was originally pretty scared of. I had no intention of ever buying it till my friend pulled it out her makeup bag and said to try it on. I was adamant it wouldn’t suit me, but once checking in the mirror I felt completely different. It wasn’t as intense and quite frankly scary as I thought!
Admittedly, you do have to be very careful with wearing this shade, as if worn the wrong way it can look terrible, chavvy and unattractive. Worn right and it looks a beautiful and a light & vibrant pink.
This lipstick is an Amplified finish (one of my faves) which means that the color is, well…amplified! With more pigmentation and a nice creamy consistency, yet still long wearing. You can sheer it down to be a very subtle hint of pink or go the full works and rock the vibran bubblegum pink look! Just be careful to try this color before buying as I think it is very marmite color – you either love it or hate it!
