It seems that only good things come out of Philadelphia, or at least the best shoegaze music. The War on Drugs third LP, Lost in the Dream, drops March 18th on Secretly Canadian; but lucky for us, the album is streaming early on NPR. Both pleasingly modern (matching up with fellow guitar master, Kurt Vile) as well as a throwback to the 80s glory days of Bruce Springsteen, Lost in the Dream is the perfect balance between forward motion and nostalgia.
