The war of words is in full swing in the middle of general election 2014. It seems everyone is competing for who's the worst words user.

TIMELINE

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has come to fore by Congress side, whereas Narendra Modi, the prime ministerial candidate of BJP responds with a scathing attack. Such verbal confrontation via media is incessantly being poured out almost daily.

Centre STAGE

“You have crossed all limits,. You have even insulted Sardar Patel. I am going to take revenge. I will seek accounts of every penny and every minute. Your CBI will not be able to harm me in any way. Twenty more days remain. Harass me as much as you can, I am still in the battlefield.”
- Narendra Modi, BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate
"If they (BJP) talk about women empowerment, the women need to know how they plan to do it. (But) why then listen to their private phone conversations? Give us power as individuals."
- Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Congress Campaigner

BOTTOMLINE

As the prescribed phases of polling are passing the word-wars are getting more fierce and piercing. In this context only the cross questioning are being heard. It’s up to the voters now to decide how they are taking these.
