There are so many things to love about Madrid, the food, the sights, the nightlife and nice hospitable people.
I was in this beautiful city for work in March, after spending the entire day at the Facebook Headquarters with a group of co-workers, we had a few hours to enjoy the city's nightlife before our flight the next morning.
I planned to meet up with a few friends who live near Madrid and one of them a very close Italian friend was attacked in the metro by a guy.
Thank God for the metro police and things were taken care of, but we weren't all lucky later in the night.
We were followed by some creepy guys calling after us and telling all the creepy things they want to do to us and want us to do for them.
We were so afraid we ran for our lives and didn't stop until we found the police and narrate our story to them.
They helped us to our hotel and the creepy guys ran the other side.
I will be visiting Barcelona soon and I really hope this experience won't repeat itself,
I still love Madrid and believe you should always know the emergency number of the country you visit,use your hotel taxi and learn some self - defence moves to protect yourself when needed.
