Luckily for me my very good friend is having black and white as a theme for guests at her wedding...shes so on trend she doesn't even know it...so I've been having a little look for outfits for the last few weeks and found soooo many to choose from...and so many tops,dresses and play suits otherwise...spoilt for choice...
Its not just the high street having a field day with the trend...Beyonce rocked up to the Grammys in this black and white jumpsuit number, shying away from the usual floor length gown...I love it...and would die for her figure..
I've got to be honest...as much as I love the monochrome look I do prefer my item of clothing to have a bit of both black and white in rather than the solid block color a la Kim Kardashian and Kanye...although they do look cute in matching monochrome suits...
I recently purchased this animal print suit jacket from Next and its the most versatile and comfortable thing I own, it literally goes with everything and as its made out of a jersey material its super comfy...hoping they'll bring out more in different colours/patterns ready for spring...
With all of my searching for black and white wedding outfits Ive got to admit that Lipsy tops the chart with most variety in one store of monochrome clothes...they also had a really striking window display in the Cardiff store which made me go in and try at least 10 dresses in a row on...this being one of them...but I cant divulge which one I chose...save that for the day...
I love this monochrome print Topshop playsuit, its sooo cute and can be dressed up or down for any occasion...the fact the print is called Puppytooth...rather than the larger Dogtooth...just makes it even cuter...this is definitely on my wish list...
With more and more monochrome coming to the high streets in the form of trousers, skirts, tops and shorts I can see this trend going from winter, well into spring and more than likely the summer...just need the tan to go with it now...
