The Tax Man Cometh.

Realizing that I currently have the time spare, I decided to do my taxes and get them out of the way. It was a mild pain in the neck, but relatively easy enough. Now that it is out of the way, I can do other things. Speaking of other things, I just finished writing my political drama at about 66 pages. Awesome! Tomorrow I'm going to go through it and edit as best as I can and finally post it. It turned out well, although the ending might just be a tad bit rushed, but honestly I was really wanting to move on to something else; I hope it isn't like that for all of the short stories that I write or have written. Tomorrow I go on part two of my job interview, so wish me luck. Oh, lately I have been watching this new Netflix original series called House of Cards and it is pure brilliance. A little heavy at times with the sexual crap, but it is a whole lot more tasteful in that regard in comparison to Game of Thrones, if I can even say that about actors and actresses pretending to have sex on-screen. Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright are astounding, and if you have Netflix then watch the series, and if you want to watch the series then get Netflix. If you like excellent drama then you'll love this show. And the nominees for Best Supporting Actor are: Alan Arkin (Argo), Robert De Niro (Silver Linings Playbook), Philip Seymour Hoffman (The Master), Tommy Lee Jones (Lincoln), and Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained). Well I've only seen one of the films (Lincoln), but based on info from my sister I am going to go with Tommy Lee Jones, because he in fact gave an astounding performance that was truly heartfelt, stirring, and passionate. I do however think that the Academy will give it to Robert De Niro; gut feeling that Silver Linings Playbook will take home a lot in the categories they're in. Well that's all I've got right now, aside from a monstrous recurrent headache which has been plaguing me all day, and from what I can tell it is for no reason. Oh well, I could instead have my head pounding from bombs being dropped around me from my government. The Syrian Civil War appears to remain in deadlock for the time being, although Israel might be inadvertently be helping the rebels. It should be interesting to see how all of this plays out in the coming weeks. Until then, good night and have an excellent week.
