The Tartan Plan

This season I am absolutely mad about plaid. I have heard people say plaid is in every fall, while this is sort of true, this season it has taken over .From celebrities to the high street, tartan is the print of the season!

As amazing as this print is, it is hard sometimes to wear tartan without looking silly. Here are few ways to wear plaid this season.

For work, pair a tartan pencil skirt with a cozy cable knit sweater. Wear pointed pumps to shape your legs and accessorize with a link chain necklace. This look is sure to get you a few compliments around the office.

On a casual day pair a crop top with a pair of plaid pants. This is a nice change up from the typical weekend jeans we all wear. Note, I used the same necklace in both looks. It is so versatile!

For an edgier going out look try pairing a faux leather bustier with a tartan skater skirt. Throw on some sky high platform pumps to really turn heads. You cam go with or without the fedora (depending on the venue).
