One day when I am staring out over the ocean as a wrinkly and gray old woman, I want to remember the days I spent with my boys. The days we didn't feel compelled to let time rush us into a frenzy, but instead embraced the slow and effortlessly lived in the present together.
These times are precious. Watching rays of sun break over the crashing waves, brushing off the dirt from chubby hands and knees exploring nature, and smiling just because it feels good. It doesn't have an agenda, and simply just exists. It's the sweetness of doing nothing.
