Kids from late 90’s may remember the beloved BBC’s children’s show Teletubbies that most of you watched with your mouth wide open. Now, have you ever wondered whatever happened to that cute giggling baby in the sun? Well, here she is.
Meet Jess Smith, the sun baby from Teletubbies. Over 15 years after the original airing, she has come forward with revealing the news. She says she was only nine months old when the recording happened. Now, she is 19-years-old and a student at Canterbury Christ Church University.
“I used to hide it but after a lot of encouragement from my friends at university, I’ve gained the confidence to come out with it,” Jess wrote on a Facebook post. “I am the sun from Teletubbies. There has been quite a few people pretending to be ‘the sun’ but only I could tell you the real story.”
