The Steeler Front Office: THE GAME HAS PASSSED THEM BY!

By Kipper @pghsportsforum
I've been a Steeler fan for 40 years. It has been a great ride.
I've never felt that the Steelers were ever in disarray and ready to collapse, but I do now.
I think Colbert has no business in football.
I think the Rooneys have slowly but surely obliterated this team. The Rooneys are a NFL disgrace. I wish they'd sell the team to somebody that actually gets up in the morning and comes to work.
Over the next decade, I think we are on our way to 0-16.
We've gone from premier organization in sports, to ghetto in just a few short years.
There is no leadership in the front office, among coaches, in the locker room, with the media, or the fans.
By seasons end, almost every Cowher Steeler will be gone.
We are to the point that we should be thinking like an expansion team.
I see 1/2 empty Heinz Field in the very near future, and a graveyard-like atmosphere.
The rest of the league is going in one direction, and the Steelers are going in another direction.
Right now the Steelers are probably worth a billion dollars, but I think after this year they will be in the bargain bin.
We need to find guys who want to play football. We have a bunch of guys who used to play good ball, got paid, and got lazy.
The really sickening thing is "how worthless the Pittsburgh media is". They never ask a tough question. How often do you see the Pittsburgh media air an in-depth interview?
The arrogant Rooneys and front office people think they don't have to give an account to anybody.
The past 40 years have enriched my life and gave me many thrills.
The next 40 years for the Steelers are going to be a nightmare.
I"m telling you folks, video games and strip clubs have replaced gyms and film study.
The Steelers have taken the choir boy approach, and eliminated the thug and playmaker.
The NEW steeler way is "DON'T MAKE WAVES, DON'T ROCK THE BOAT".
