It may look like the hideaway of a super villain from a Bond movie but this is the Sphinx Observatory, dedicated to research. It is situated in Jungfraujoch, Switzerland. At an astonishing 3,571 meters ((11,715 feet) above sea level, the Sphinx Observatory in the Swiss Alps is the highest-altitude built structure in Europe.
