It's been a while since I did a good old fashioned review post so I thought I would put the new Max Factor Skin Luminizer Foundation to the test.
I was sent this a week or 2 ago to try and was kind of underwhelmed when I saw the packaging. The swirls in the foundation, I was sure was just a bit of a gimmick but HOLD YER HORSES... I was wrong, again. DAMN I love it when that happens.
Ok, so in terms of colour, I always need the lightest shade, but in all honesty, I think I might have been able to get away with a darker shade. The mix of the two shades (the luminizer is white) and the actual foundation makes it a little lighter.
The consistency is like a light foundation. It doesn't feel watery or anything but it does feel really light, almost like a daily moisturizer.
In terms of coverage, this gives a medium coverage and looks glowy without looking greasy. With that said, you do need to use powder to finish the look, as this does feel a little bit oily as the day wears on. I powdered this in the morning and again twice throughout the day and although it didn't look greasy it did feel a little 'wet' at points - again, I am rubbish at describing things but I hope that made sense.
For the price, this is a really high quality foundation and I would definitely repurchase. As advice I would suggest if you are between two shades to go for the darker one as this comes out a little light.
