During on of the peaceful gatherings
On the 28th and 29th of June though, which were the days when the members of the parliament were going to vote on new harsh measures, the protesters decided to try and block the parliament in order to prevent the members from entering. The result was a scene that reminded of a civil war: tear gas being spread with no control, throwing of rocks between the people and the police, beating etc. There were damages to both private and public property, as well as many injured, who were taken care of in the underground metro station by volunteers who were also trying to fight the unbearable tear gas that had been sprayed and gone into the station, that was turned into a temporary first aid center.
These images were taken in the evening of the 29th of June.
