I recently spoke in my church’s youth group last weekend, and at around the beginning of my talk, I showed them this powerful Francis Chan video clip on how God answers prayer so powerfully. Check it out and be wowed.
Indeed, “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” (James 5:16b) But you know what? The God that pulled him through out of that hairy situation is also the God that has pulled me out of mine (and I have my own stories, for sure)….and if you allow Him, He can also work mighty things in your life as well.
But you might be thinking…
You can sometimes struggle with that, right? One of my former students was a Catholic who became agnostic because a critical prayer in her young life wasn’t answered. I had to lovingly coach her about the topic of prayer.
