The PowerHouse Collective: The Importance of Being Bajiggity

I ask Cara McNulty (Head of Population Health & Team Member Wellness for Target Corporation – full bio below) what challenges her sense of confidence and what she does when it happens. She talks about the importance of sitting with discomfort and how it helps her make better, more authentic decisions. Easy to say – hard to do! What challenges your confidence and what do you do when it happens?

Cara McNulty is the Head of Population Health and Team Member Wellness for Target Corporation. She leads efforts to implement Targets’ health agenda and develop strategies that improve all Target team members’ health while decreasing health care expenditure. Her responsibilities support a population health approach to improving health, decreasing disease burden, and building stronger systems and environments to promote team member’s best health.
Ms. McNulty has received a Doctorate in Public Administration from Hamline University, her M.S. in Applied Health Science from Indiana University, and a B.S. in Community Health Education from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
