It’s always good to prep your lips before you start applying makeup. I start off by slathering my lips with the limited edition I Heart Carmex Original Flavoured lip balm. This is available in store now for $5.99 (BARGAIN!!).
Face
- Use a good primer and apply it all over the face to help even out the skin and cover pores.
- Wait a minute or two until your primer has dried/settled and apply your foundation.
- To set your foundation, use a large powder brush and lightly dust the face with a setting powder.
Cheeks
- For blush, I used a shimmery pink shade. In the photos above, you don’t notice any blush but I actually packed a lot on (obviously not enough for the photos).
- I also used a highlighter to help give me a glowy look.
Eyes
- The look I’ve done today is a very soft pink smokey eye which is different to your usual darker smokey eye. The smokey part of the end if using a purple so that it’s not too over the top.
- I used a pink cream eyeshadow and set it with pink powder eyeshadow. On the ends of my eyes, I used a purple eyeshadow and blended it until color looks smooth.
- Using a black eyeliner to line the eyes and then applied false lashes.
Lips
- Kissable lips are the final touch of any makeup look. Having smooth and moisturised lips helps the lipstick/gloss apply better and also you wouldn’t want to go on your date with dry flaky lips.
- After the face makeup is completed, I applied more I Heart Carmex Original Flavoured lip balm and used a Carmex Moisture Plus in Pink to give my lips a pop of color.
