The Perfect Chair : Table Ratio | Mansfield House Hotel Lunch

It’s not often one sits down at a well laid table and immediately thinks Oh, isn’t this chair : table ratio just perfect? Well if you aren’t sure, why don’t you ask yourself when you last thought this? Yeah, my feelings are right, it happens once in a chair : table ration moon. Last week we took a trip down to Hawick. Remember Hawick? What do you mean you don’t remember it? Maybe instead you remember my internship down at Galashiels, very close to Hawick which is where I “witnessed” a Chanel jumper being knitted. Bet you remember it now don’t you. Anyway, we went down to visit HAWICK CASHMERE as they were having their season sale (snapped up an amazing Celine cashmere piece, as Hawick produce for Celine amongst others). After buying our lives’ worth of cashmere we needed some sustenance hence our discovery of Mansfield House Hotel - How very Jane Austen. We were actually going to have lunch at Kelso but well … ma & I do like to shop and it wasn’t such a quick visit as daddy had intended!
