Did you know that the 2015 Oscars or Academy Awards took place last (Sunday) night?
I didn’t either. That’s how unimportant I think the Oscars are.
Nevertheless, the Oscars is supposed to be the penultimate of all movie/acting awards, watched last night by 36.6 millions in the United States and hundreds of millions across the world.
This was what those hundreds of millions saw:
Yup, that’s the host of the Academy Awards, actor Neil Patrick Harris, wearing nothing but a pair of white underwear.
Harris is an out homosexual whose husband is actor/chef David Burtka. Together, they are raising a boy and a girl — 3-year-old twins who were conceived via a surrogate mother. Appearing on Live With Kelly & Michael this morning, he claimed that the bulge in his underwear is all real — no padding or other enhancements.
Makes you proud to be an American, doesn’t it? /sarc
