Another TV Year has begun, and everyone is wondering, what will be the next fandom of Tumblr. Here are some of the TV shows that I think would become another fandom, and the probability they will continue to another season.
Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
To be honest and fair, I’ve been waiting for this TV show to come out since it’s been announced, simply because I’m a Joss Whedon groupie who’s favourite shows are Dollhouse and Firefly (curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal FOX).
Probability of it being continued: I’d say a 10 out of 10, simply because of the fandom already following it, but Joss Whedon wrote this… And we all know his track record.
Dracula
What is it with modernizing old stories? Since Sherlock became a huge hit (Season 3! Squeee!), it seems that everyone is trying to bring a modern twist onto an old classic. Between Dracula and Sleepy Hollow, I would definitely pick Dracula, simply because there are already a good number of vampire fans.
Probability of it being continued: Depending on whether it’s done well, 6-8 of 10.
The Tomorrow People
It sounds eerily similar to Heroes, but hopefully there will be something else going on.
Probability of it being continued: 7 of 10
Star-Crossed
Who doesn’t like alien-paranormal romance? Fairly similar to Romeo and Juilet, Star-Crossed focuses on the fesibility of alien-human relationships, and how love can overcome all obstacles.
Probability of it being continued: 9 of 10
The Hundred
The Hundred is the story of a group of 100 teenage delinquents sent to repopulate Earth. Hopefully the pilot will explain the reasoning behind it, because I most certainly can’t. The story is based off a series of novels of the same name.
Probability of it being continued: 8 of 10
