On Sunday I attended my second bloggers event; The NE Bloggers Vintage Social hosted by the lovely girls at @TheNEBloggers and the gorgeous Katy. Despite the terrible weather, we all met at Serendipity Tea Rooms in Sunderland for an afternoon full of tea, cakes and lots and lots of giggles. It was a fabulous opportunity to meet local bloggers and to catch up with familiar faces.
We were greeted with name stickers which enabled us to put 'blogs & names to faces' and were seated in the cutest kitsch tea room around tables with our very own name cards. I was seated with some wonderful ladies, the lovely Chloe, Saffron and Bree. We hit it off straight away talking about blogs and inspirations. There were also local companies there showcasing their products. We had the chance to browse the fabulous products from Senor Picklesworth and get vintage inspired hairstyles done by JPHair. I volunteered myself to get my hair done first and even though it was a bit too experimental and crazy for my liking, Jonathan is definitely talented at what he does!
Overall, I had an amazing day. The girls did such a brilliant job putting on the event and I didn't see a frown all day long - The goody bags were amazing too! To all the lovely ladies I had a chance of meeting and chatting to, thank you for making my day wonderful and to the girls I didn't get a chance to meet, I will definitely catch you next time!
