Released late last year, ”The Mother We Share” is the second single from Glasgow outfit CHVRCHES who not-so-shockingly rode a huge wave in 2012 as opener for Passion Pit only four months after their first-ever gig. Though they didn’t top the list, their nomination for BBC Sound of 2013 (they finished 5th behind Haim, AlunaGeorge, Angel Haze, and Laura Mvula) is about as good a sign as any.
