Paul Weller's 'Starlite' was released a couple of days ago and to celebrate, the lush and laid-back Drop Out Orchestra remix is up for grabs.Weller's original is already turning a lot of heads, a light and breezy nod towards his flirtations with house music in his late Style Council days. Whatever you think of the record, there’s no denying the cover art is fantastic.
Swedish disco dons Drop Out Orchestra turn the thing into a semi-Balearic groover, fitted with cowbells and a gently funky bassline. Lovely stuff:
