The Marriage, Divorce, Remarriage Debate

By Themilkaint4free @prospermuch
Pray that God will open your eyes to see the truth.  It's right there in the word of God, don't be persuaded by man that tell you what you want to hear, what satisfies the flesh.  Here are biblical principles supported by God's word.  I've decided with the help of the Holy Spirit to follow God's explicit words, and not put my soul salvation in the bias interpretation of mankind.
1a.  AND A HUSBAND MUST NOT DIVORCE HIS WIFE.
1 Corinthians 7:11
1b. A WIFE IS BOUND AS LONG AS HER HUSBAND LIVES. (vice versa for the husband) 1 Corinthians 7:39
2.  KEEP YOUR MARRIAGE VOW Numbers 30:2 ESV “If a man vows a vow to the Lord, or swears an oath to bind himself by a pledge, he shall not break his word. He shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.”
1 John 2:5 ESV    But whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:
3.  Does that mean I have to stay with an abusive spouse? In a disturbing complicated issue as described above, separation is an option, but does not permit divorce and remarriage.
1 Corinthians 7:11 But to the married I give instructions, not I, but the Lord, that the wife should not leave her husband 11(but if she does leave, she must remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband should not divorce his wife.…
4.  Singles, do not enter into marriage lightly. Marriage by God's standard is for life as long as you both shall live.  The court system allows "no fault" divorce but God does not.  He calls the Remarriage to someone else while you have a living spouse Adultery.  Please really get to know yourself, the person, prayer, and people who love you to help you decide on this lifelong decision.  Marriage is serious covenant business.
Did God give His Only Begotten Son so we could continue to live like the world: divorce, remarried, children from multiple people, broken homes, etc?  The devil is a liar.  JESUS said, "Moses permitted you to divorce because your hearts were hard, But it was not this way from the beginning (Matthew 19:8)." Lord and Savior Christ Jesus did not give His all for mankind to continue to live in sin.  We must repent-forsake the sin and when we truly give our hearts to Christ Jesus, we are empowered to live holy, not live in compromise and act like the world.  God is not going to let His Son shed blood be in vain.  Bottomline, Living for God requires a SACRIFICE: You may lose friends, family , parents, or  an adulterous union (legal by law not by God) that you have to give up.  Are we going to be like the rich man who refuse to sell his stuff to follow JESUS or will we become like Jesus and let nothing separate us from our God.
