The Manta Hairbrush
The Manta hairbrush is actually different from the others, which is why I thought I'd share my thoughts on it.
When the Manta hairbrush arrived on my desk (Thanks Manta!) instantly I thought it just looked like the inside of a hairbrush (you know if you took the inner pad out of a paddle brush? like that!) with a handle on the back that let your hand slot into it, so I didn't have high hopes for it.
Upon opening it, I realised that the Manta Hairbrush was actually much sturdier than it looked. Yes, it's flexible and forms with how your hand is placed, but actually this is strong and all in all a pretty nifty brush.
As someone who suffers from Psoriasis, it is important for me to use a brush that doesn't drag or scratch the scalp. The bristles on this are strong, yet flexible and because my hand is so close to my head when I'm using it, I feel like I can adjust the pressure much easier at different parts of my head.  I have absolutely no idea if any of that makes sense! haha! I've re-read and re-worded it differently about a hundred times but it's as good as it's gon' get.
In terms of detangling, this does the job. I always have really knotty hair when it's wet (not because I rub it with a towel obviously... insert eyeroll here somewhere) and I usually shed a lot of hair, but I have noticed less breakage and it glides through my knots without me needing to use a bottle of detangler on my mop beforehand.
I wouldn't say I'd replace my everyday brush with this, but it has replaced my tangle teezer! I'm really impressed with how it performs and would thoroughly recommend it - especially if you've got kids (or are a fully grown ass woman who acts like a kid...) to get rid of that painful post-bath/shower tangled hair.
This is available from Manta Hair and costs £25.
Have you tried it?
