English synth band The Last of The Fallen Angels teamed up with singer Hannah Robinson for a seductive triphop song, Red Dress. It is an exploration of an Trans-Atlantic relationship, expectations and gender roles. The band's bassist Conrad McQueen points to classics like Lola and Walk on the Wild Side as sources of inspiration to tackle the subject.
With the repeated "I love you in the red dress" line acting as a sort of mantra the track plays mindgames with the listener, whose perspective keeps changing as the song progresses. Simon Ellis (Spice Girls, S Club 7, Westlife) was once again on board as producer and mixing guru.
Red Dress is available on all the usual digital outlets.
