Your happy levels for the day are about increase by 100% with the latest single and video from Brisbane’s The Jensens. Even when confronting life struggles in their latest single, “Fears”, there’s something irresistibly delightful about their jangly garage pop that crescendos, halts and explodes with fervor in all the right places. The video for “Fears”, directed by the band themselves under the guidance of Adrielle Smith, can best be described as wonderfully slack-edelic. In the center circle, the patterns you see rotating behind the band are bed sheets and fabrics tied to a rotary clothes line. The trippy footage surrounding it came from GoPros strapped to the band members foreheads during a party they had the night before. How’s that for special effects? The Jensens’ first full-length is due out in early 2015.
