The slow build of The Japanese House’s newest track, “Sisters”, is captivating from the start. Beginning with light sketches of sound and absolutely stunning harmonies from singer Amber Bain, each layer builds until reaching a perfectly subtle emotional climax. The moody synth lines buoy Bain’s stunning vocals throughout, but it’s the addition of ever so slight percussion towards the halfway mark that really lifts the song to new heights. The 19-year-old is set to release her debut EP on April 27, and we’re sure it’ll be moody, dark brilliance.
