Over the past few months we heard enormous reports about the infamous hacking gang, Anonymous who attacked several major websites around the globe. Most people praised these guys as modern freedom fighters.  Although, it looks like they are not so awesome as we’ve thought because recently one of their Twitter accounts became victim of a Twitter hacking spree.

According to BBC News, Anonymous Twitter has “suffered an embarrassing breach” along with several other popular Twitter accounts when a rival hacker group named “Rustle League” took over their accounts pretty easily. Graham Cluley from the security firm Sophos says that “poor password practices” could be the reason for these Twitter accounts to fall as victims.

If you want to protect your Twitter account, best thing to do first is to change your password into something stronger than 12345.
