The Illness, a loose collective consisting of musicians signed to Leeds based niche label Sea Records, enlisted David Pajo (Slint / Tortoise / Papa M) to add his signature hoarse voice to Speedway Star, a murky lo-fi rocker. It is almost as dirty and dangerous as the sport itself. The video was made by Jenny Collins Films.
Speedway Star is the lead single for the forthcoming debut album Macrodosed, which is available for pre-order (submerged blue vinyl, digital) here. Release date: February 14.
