Today I thought I’d share some of my handbag beauty essentials! Now I know a lot of people like to carry an actual makeup and/or toiletries bag in their handbag but sometimes that just isn’t possible with slimline handbags so below are my top picks!
Chapstick EveryDay Lip Care SPF 15* – Although I always aim to apply a lip balm under any lip product I use during the day, sometimes you just need an extra boost of moisture for your lips and this Chapstick one is easy to use and contains SPF.
Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream* – I also seem to notice the need to use hand cream while I’m out more often than when I’m at home! This one from Neutrogena is the best hand cream I’ve ever used – a little goes a long way and it’s super hydrating. Full review here.
Fuss Free Naturals Facial Cleansing Wipes – Perfect to use to clean up any smudges of makeup, freshen up after the gym or in emergencies – wipe off any spills on your clothes and to clean your hands. A useful product for all situations!
Travalo Touch Elegance Rollerball Perfume Atomizer* – An absolute new love for me! Perfumes in rollerball form are usually quite a bit more expensive than buying a full size fragrance so I love the idea of having a reusable perfume atomizer that you yourself can fill up with your favorite fragrance. I’ve also noticed that when applied using the rollerball head, the fragrance seems to last a bit longer than when sprayed.
LYXO Hair Bands* – Every girl needs a couple of spare hair ties in their bag and these LYXO ones are a must for me! Featured in my 2014 Favourites, these dont slide off, become loose or tug my thick hair at all. The actual bands also dont stretch more than you want them to so they last much longer than regular hair ties.
boe Professional Big XXX Kiss Lip Gloss* – I always try to keep some sort of bold lip color in my bag in case I suddenly have to switch to more of a party/night look without being able to go home and actually change my whole makeup look! This product is a beautiful bold red and has a large applicator for quick and easy application.
Revlon ColorStay Pressed Powder – A pressed powder is definitely a staple as it not only helps reduce any shine you might develop but it also helps set makeup, allowing it to last longer on the skin. This compact comes with a mirror and a puff so it’s perfect for on the go.
Ego Aqium with Aloe Antibacterial Hand Sanitiser* - Hand sanitisers or anti bacterial wipes of some sort are an absolute must for everyone in my eyes, especially those that take public transport to school or work!
