The Greatcoats: Find Someone Else EP

When Austin band The Greatcoats released their self-titled debut album last year, the group was basically a one-man affair. Multi-instrumentalist David Tenczar has found three like-minded souls for the new Find Someone Else EP.

These guys are into sunny Sixties pop with a melancholic twist. The sound is a bit more muscular and upbeat - the interplay between the members gives the new material a push. The title track is catchy as hell, y Next Great Story has a nifty stop-and-start drum beat in the middle eight, and the EP's final track Still Young is a declaration of defiance.
