I'd be lying if I said my marriage was perfect. It isn't. I mean, OK, so we seldom argue, but that's just because some things just aren't that big to us. You know what they say, compromise is the key to marriage success, and for the most part, I'm willing to do my fair share of compromising, but I think it may be time to put my foot down. Last week, the hubs did his large (Sams Club) grocery shopping trip and came back with unsalted butter. What? That just won't do? The salt is what makes butter so goood. No? Now, I understand there are a bunch of recipes that call for unsalted butter, but frankly, I ignore that. A little salt won't hurt, right? I mean seriously, there is nothing better on a nice hot piece of toast, biscuit, roll, well any bread product really, than the taste of comforting salty butter.
