Que pasa people, que pasa? Feeling a bit of moody cowgirl, I wore my vintage Dingo kicks with my favorite floral frock. As it has recently turned CHILLY, this may be the last time you see my bare legs for a while, so drink it up people!
The outfit is all thrifted save for the cute chevron tote I'm uh, toting. That is brand spanking new- American made from House of Minerva. HoM is a labor of love for designer Kate Elfatah who designs her collection of totes and bags and aprons, as well as sewing custom pieces, and makes them all here in the U.S.A. Her designs are retro inspired and she's all about recycling her fabrics.
Note the second handbag- a blistering gem of a vintage wicker handbag- in black with brown accents and is available in the Etsy shop. I've recently realized that it's cross body straps only for me- so I am reluctantly letting this beaute of a bag go. The label is Adoria, and I just adore it. Don't you?
J'Adoria: Wicked Vintage Black Wicker Handbag is available on Etsy HERE.
I'll be posting more over at my SHOP THE CITIZEN blog, as I've been busy trying to list and sell my vast vintage and pre-loved empire on eBay and Etsy. With a very small home and pretty much enough stuff to open up a shop- I have got to get crackin' on my selling. As to not pollute these pages, I'll be posting some of my favorite finds over there, so please feel free to mosey over from time to time and check it out.

How can you NOT feel good when listening to James Brown? That was my knee-jerk reaction when I saw this window the other day on my way to work:

It put a smile on my face, and I felt awesome. Awesome too, is this incredible piece- and I had a bit of fun photographing to list on eBay:

Dragonfly Dreams: Pamela Tuohy original can be purchased HERE
It's truly a song of poetry taking flight on dragonfly's wings. Unfortunately I am having metal allergies and seem to be unable to wear necklaces with metal, which is sadly, most necklaces. But I trust this song of songs will find its true wearer and live happy ever after. For those who love drama and mani-festival destiny- I present you an original Pamela Tuohy designed one-of-a-kind find from the now defunct festival collection. Pamela is still going strong however, creating wearable art with her painter husband using original art and recycled precious metals and gemstones. I often visit their website, 2ETN.com and sigh over the incredible creations.
Meanwhile, it's a pedestrian dose of the day-to-day. With the occasional happy dance.
