In a nutshell think a golfing Harry Potter meets Tiger Woods – kind of!
Only in this case its the little golf balls that are the magic ones…
Each of the 9 balls featured in the book has it’s own unique ‘power’…
For instance there’s ‘Directaball and Horraball” I think you can see where this is going!
Depending on what ‘ble‘ comes at the end of the word – then that is the ‘magic power’ the GolfaBall possesses…
The idea for the book came 20 years ago whilst playing golf and using my 7-year-old son as a Caddy…
In between holes we chatted about wishing I had more control over my errant golf balls…
I wrote the book 20 years ago and it was found recently in a old drawer!!!
I had made a play on one of the characters calling him Nick Niblett – aka Nick Faldo…
He for instance is now called Tiger Forest Junior lol…
The artwork for the title was done by my good friend Rob Morris but sadly over time has seriously deteriorated. I had to try and fix it with photoshop
