The Future of Smartphones August 2019

The Smartphone Market is moving at a rapid pace. Each week you see a phone launched is said to better than any previous. The market is so vast that as a consumer, you are not bound to choices in any ranges of the phone.

So, today, we are going to look at the future of Smartphones for the remainder of 2019. This list consists of phones that are expected to be launched in the second half of the year and the rumors surrounding these phones.

So, while you wait on the full-on 5G revolution, here are five smartphones you should be excited about:

  • Motorola RAZR V4

Moto RAZR is returning and not in its retro look. Rumors and leak confirm that it will be a foldable phone and with two displays aligning vertically probably. The phone will retain some of the original RAZR flagship features while giving it a modern touch.

In a bid to stay relevant in the market, Motorola RAZR V4 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. The Display is OLED with 6.2-inches and 2142 x 876 pixels resolution. The battery is expected to be 2730mAh, and the phone will come in White and black color variants.

  • Sony Xperia 2

Sony is working on another high-end phone in its flagship Xperia Series. The phone is expected to be very stylish with features like triple camera setup and an excellent display. It is expected to have all the standard hardware we expect from an expensive phone in today’s market.

Rumors suggest that the phone will have an option to expand storage up to 512 GB and will have wireless fast charging. The OLED display has Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is expected to be water resistant and the best for playing games and watching videos.

  • Apple iPhone XI

Apple always holds its event in the second week of September. This was confirmed when Regular Phone leaker Ben Geskin posted a mockup image of iPhone XI with a triple camera.

The phone is also confirmed to have IOS 13 with many of its older version brought back. It will also have Apple Chip 13, Reverse wireless charging with USB Type-C. Apple is working on making a water-resistant phone with Higher resolution displays. The existing feature will be updated. Also, expect Apple to throw a grenade to shock everyone in its September preview.

  • Google Pixel 4

Google just announced that it won’t be launching any new Google phones until October of this year. Sources suggest they are working on something big. In one of our previous article, we mentioned that Google is working with Samsung on foldable phones.

We believe that Google might incorporate Foldable features into its Pixel Series. Rumors suggest the phone will have a two-texture rear, Dual front camera, and Punch-hole camera. The phone is also rumored to drop out physical buttons and 3.5mm head jack. The phone will be priced at approx. £800.

  • Pundi X Blockchain Phone

This is a left-field shoot, and most of you would haven’t heard of this phone as well. Pundi X Phone would be using Buzzword Tech to keep its phone secure. You can switch between blockchain calling and normal calling, anytime you want.

There isn’t much news on the hardware of the phone as the company wants to test the blockchain on a smartphone for now. After which, it is expected to take advantage of android and work with other known Smartphones brand in the industry. This could be a real game changer as you won’t have to compromise power for security.

So, here are the five smartphones that will shape the future of the mobile industry in the coming months.
