For the first time in their career English prog experimentalists The Fierce And The Dead have added vocals to their music. Kev Feazey's delivery on the new hard-hitting single Wonderful is almost buried entirely in effects, but this extension of their musical palette and the addition of a choice saxophone part courtesy of Terry Edwards (PJ Harvey/Spiritualized/Faust) is a sneak peak of what they have in store for their upcoming new album News From The Invisible World. It their first new studio material since the release of their The Euphoric album. Two remixes - a "purist" one and a "Vek Noir" reinterpration - are up on their Bandcamp page.
The Fierce And The Dead:
Matt Stevens: guitars, synths
Steve Cleaton: guitars
Kev Feazey: bass, programming, synths, vocals
Stuart Marshall: drums, percussion
