The Dodos Have a Rough Morning in New Video for ‘confidence’ [video]

I’ve had my share of bad mornings, whether from lack of sleep, hangovers, Mondays or countless other reasons. No matter how bad though, none have come anywhere close to the terribleness of the morning protagonist Bo Anderson has in The Dodo’s new music video for their song “Confidence”, off their latest album Carrier. Waking up with very strange texts and an under cover cop after him, the video follows Anderson running through the streets in his bathrobe in an effort to escape. Contrasting this crazy scene are meandering guitars alongside vocalist Meric Long’s subtly powerful chanting of “con-fi-dence” in the chorus. Though somewhat hard to follow, the combination makes for a strangely potent video that’s definitely entertaining to watch. Check it out above and enjoy!
