Summer 2017 is booming with an endless number of events for you and your mates to hit up - here's another to add to the list! Casting off where the river meets the sea, The Dock Wharf Bar is bringing a full pop-up bar and eatery to the water's edge, overseeing Fremantle's iconic port.
Upon arrival of The Dock's exclusive preview, we were greeted and set for the night with 10 drink vouchers to quench our thirst. The fully-themed bar offers an impressive selection of beer, wine, spirits and delicious cocktails for everyone to enjoy.
Grab your drink and head out to the waterfront beer garden to enjoy a cool breeze and check out the awesome view of Fremantle's iconic port.
If you fancy something to snack on, you can order a cheese board from XO Boards to pair with your wine or enjoy the other delicious food options available; wood fire pizzas, tacos or paella - the ideal food for the venue I'd say.
A taco from
Locale Kitchen is only $4.50; we ordered the Pulled Pork Taco with tomatillo salsa and a Roasted Cauliflower Taco with avocado salsa. Both oozed with juiciness and were full of flavour. On my next visit to The Dock I'll definitely be getting my hands on the crumbed, fried pumpkin and sage macaroni and cheese.
The live music and entertainment tie the evening together. Pop down to The Dock located at the B Shed Markets from the 22 December - 4 January 2018 and enjoy the awesome vibe and some beers on the wharf.
