California songwriter Elan Levy creates cinematic songs, using The Coyote as his stage name. His latest single The Ghost That You Are is a pocket soundtrack for an imaginary Western, telling the tale of prospector who has a run in with an undisclosed adversary. Taking cues from the '50s and '60s doo-wop and rock 'n' roll - plus a Morricone-tinged waltz bit coming out of left field - Levy takes the listener on a journey that is a bit dangerous, but also invigorating.
The track will be included on his new Bad Killer EP, due for release on December 3rd. The video was directed and edited by James Parker.
