CourtshipCourtship Relationships | Biblical Views on Dating and Courtship | 30 Day Blog Series

Blessings in the matchless name of Jesus!

I have been away from the blog for some time now, so just to catch you up a bit…

Our local ministry in Cincinnati has launched a small group for Christian Singles. We meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month and it’s been amazing!

Second, I have launched a beauty and health blog! I encourage you to take a minute or two to check it out!

If you have an interest in healthy hair and skin, you’ll love reading about my obsession with carrier and essential oils. :) It’s been a ton of work putting Coconut Beauty together and getting it online, but I am overjoyed with its progress! To stay up to date, head on over and subscribe to the Coconut Beauty newsletter! 😉

So how will I make up for my absence here on Abundantly You? I believe it’s time for another 30 days of daily blogging!

Some of you may remember that a few years ago, I challenged myself to publish content every day in January. The theme for that month was “Overcoming the Sorrow of Being Single”.

In April 2016, I will be publishing daily content of encouragement and faith-based advice. So what’s the spring theme?

“The Courtship Relationship | Biblical Views on Dating and Courtship”

One of many things that I have learned from our small group studies is that God’s Word offers an abundance of guidance in the area of relationships.

Many singles are in a relationship of some form or another. Perhaps it is a friendship that may bud into something more. Other singles are approaching a season of engagement and plans for marriage.

The world of relationships are full of crossroads. When starting a new relationship or taking a current one to the next level, there are many questions to answer. Just a few are…

  • How much should I rely on my feelings?
  • How do we overcome breakdowns in communication?
  • How intimate can we be without crossing the line?
  • Am I stuck in the friend zone or is he in love with me?
  • Our chemistry isn’t what it used to be, should we call it quits before we head down the aisle?

For all of the relationship advice that we may normally go to our friends for, God wants us to seek Him first. God has a Word of life for every issue and every decision we must face.

The scriptures offer a proper perspective of life and love. When the Holy Spirit is our guide, we can never be lead down the wrong path. Relationships can be complex, but the Bible offers clarity.

Stay tuned in April as we study God’s Word daily. At the end of this 30-day series, I will be hosting a special giveaway to all Abundantly You blog subscribers!

God’s Word is a light unto our path, guiding us in the ways that we should go.

Blessings, Peace, Grace and Love be unto (Abundantly) You!

Candra ♥
