The Cliffs of Etretat

By Dusana Bozenkova
Exactly two years ago my wonderful man surprised me with a 3 days trip to Etretat.
I was 6 months pregnant at that time expecting our little boy.
This place left a warm feeling in my heart.
••
Etretat is known for it's white cliffs and pebble beach.
The stunning cliffs of Etretat are famous for their naturally formed archways.
It's a very small town with charming hotels, cute restaurants and the remarkable wooden covered market. Once you'll get there, plan on walking a lot, a lot :-)
The place is great, people are great, breathtaking view of the sea, it's just absolutely amazing.
It's a perfect place for a romantic weekend or even a lovely family trip.
••
We went also up to Chapelle Notre-Dame de la Garde. It's a big hill to go up. You can go there by car (or take the bus) or you can have a nice walk.
The climb is totally worth it, it's more than just a climb, the scene is phenomenal. The Chapelle is closed, but the view from the cliff is amazing.
Etretat is a beautiful place to visit and I can't wait to go there again.
Love,
Dusana
