The Cathedral of Light

palma cathedral mallorcaSo back on track and after a breakfast at Puro we finally made our way (via a few shops) to the Cathedral.  It’s definitely the first thing which catches your eye as you enter Palma from the airport with its magnitude, and so it should after taking over 400 years to build! But before we begin to visit the Cathedral let’s have a look around on our way. I loved the flowers overspilling from the courtyard against the rosy pink of the old buildings too. Oh and before we continue I should probably mention it’s quite a photo heavy post. Definitely the seasons are changing. This is along the main street where you have all the big shops like Zara, Mango, Louis Vuitton etc etc. One thing I also really enjoyed about Palma was the architecture, as some of  the buildings were beautifully detailed especially around the balconies. It reminded me of Paris (in my imagination) somewhat, especially sauntering down the big avenue which is lined with all those beautiful lush trees. Guess what I found just around the corner ? Complete with the new Mini – Cara in green quilted lamb nappa in the window. A cage of flowers nicely ...
