There's a lot of great rock and roll from coast-to-coast in Canada - so we decided it was time to put it all on one map for fans to check out and track for themselves!
Version one of the map has 100 Canadian rock and roll acts included, representing nine provinces. We used Google, social media, and band websites to gather information about home towns and home bases for artists and bands, so we believe that we've been able to be pretty accurate so far.
Now, we know that there's an imbalance on the map, with more than 50% of the acts listed coming from Ontario, and a whopping 28 entries from Toronto.
Related: Canadian Rock & Roll Quiz Part 2!But, that's going to change. We are going to keep adding to the list and the map with more rock and rollers from the east, west, north, and everywhere in between - and we invite you to help us out!
