* The Campion's Cancun Beach Wedding: 1.18.13

We booked it over to the wedding and found our seats with just enough time to say Hi again to everyone as we found our seats. [[be prepared for A LOT of photos this post!]]

As we were witness to a beautiful, sweet & intimate beach wedding I couldn't help but flashback to our beach wedding that was ALMOST 3 years ago! This day for both Angela & Rick was sure to be the best 1st day to the rest of their lives together.

It may not have been a sunny day, but this wedding was perfect in so many other ways! We as guests barefoot in the sand, that was awesome! They had the most perfect "photographic" lighting and backdrop for some sure to be BEAUTIFUL photos. There was also a slightly chilly breezy wind that gave this gorgeous bride some beautifully flowing beach hair! Oh and the chill in the air... no big deal at all, the love between the Mr & Mrs was enough to keep all of us warm! [hot tears of joy running down my face helped too!] ;)

After this short and sweet ceremony, there was a short cocktail hour on the beach while the couple spent some time on the beach taking photos. Our group spent time trying to tame our hair long enough for a couple of group photos and said cheers to a glass or two of celebration champagne. All the while being serenaded by the mariachi band. We may or may not have requested Guantanamera TWICE! haha LOVE that song!

After about an hour we were all led into the Royal and to a private reception room. It was bright, fresh and clean! As everyone found all of their seats we waited for the couple to arrive. Dinner was soon to follow, with another fancy 4 course meal- we were stuffed by the time we were through!

This was sure to be one of the BEST wedding dances ever. EVERYONE was dancing and continued to dance. The music was all current from a laptop, so this of course made it fun to keep on dancing with pretty much NO breaks in between!

I can't even begin to tell you about all that went on- because you just have to know these friends of ours to understand the craziness! I will just say that it was FUN and I will let photos and #hashtags do most of the talking.

The night flew by, so much that we felt it was 2am when in actuality it was ONLY 9pm at the first glance of our watches! It was soon after a drink was spilled and glass shattered that the reception was coming to an end.

We all filed down to THE Royal's lobby for, what appeared to be, a cirque du soleil show. I took one [really bad] photo, it fails to show you how this show was complete with ropes, rings, fog & motorcycles- two of them! It was cool and really kind of strange too...

I think watching the spinning up on the ropes made both Aaron and I a little nauseous. Aaron and I decided to turn in before everyone else. We both went to bed with stomachs that were a little "off". NOT a good feeling at all when in MEX... and it was NOT alcohol b/c I only had 2 glasses of champagne during the beach cocktail hour and then one mixed drink during dinner. The rest of the night was just water and a little bit of pop. Let's just say that I went to bed willing away the urge to BARF and prayed REALLY HARD for health in the morning...
Check back to see if my prayers were answered... rumor had it the sun was going to make an appearance on day #3 in Cancun!
