The Breakout was inspired by the prison break movies like The Great Escape and classic point-and-click games from 1990′s. And it “is an adventure game for adults, with real life and death consequences where your stealth, preparation and adequate supplies are vital to your chances of success.”
The game evolves around an ex-thief named Guy Kassel, who’s joined the Air Force to go on an important mission, but sadly he gets captured on his first mission. Your mission as the gamer is to point and click him toward his freedom, without getting captured again. The game is being developed for Windows, MacOS and Linux platforms.

Developer of The Breakout, Pixel Trip Studios is currently seeking £49,500 to crowdfund this game. You can find more info about the game at its’ Kickstarter page. In the meantime, check out the early gameplay demo after the jump.
