Goosebumps review: A must read romantic novel. The fast phased story, surprising climax, emotional chapters and characters keeps the readers engaged. Don't miss it if you love Durjoy's works and romantic novels. Rating:
(4.25 / 5)The Boy Who Loved review:
Duroy Datta knows how to make his readers get emotional. He proves it again with The Boy Who Loved as well. The Boy Who Loved is first of the two part series.
The novel is one of the bests of Durjoy. The plot does sound simple but the way things unfold keeps the readers engaged. The best thing about the novel is its characterization. Every character is well thought and explained.
The emotional side of Raghu was explained to the perfection. Brahmi would be the kind of girl every boy dreams to have. The fast phased story adds up to the excitement, especially the first half. The climax was unexpected and surprising. One might not have expected the climax and it gives a lead to part 2 as well.
Apart from few dragging chapters towards the end The Boy Who Loved is a must read for romance lovers. Durjoy has proved again that he is a master teller.
