the Bouqs.

I love having fresh flowers in the house. I regularly treat myself to the $3.99 bouquets at Trader Joe’s, which make my kitchen table look super fancy. But as much as I love a bargain and as much as I love TJs, I have to be honest—The Bouqs put my $3.99 bouquets to shame.

First things first: these flowers come from a volcano farm in South America. I repeat—these flowers are grown on a volcano. THAT IS AWESOME. Secondly, The Bouqs only cut what they sell, and they use a direct from-the-farm supply chain, which results in less energy waste. Their farms provide living wages, childcare, healthcare, and adult education. Boom.

In my personal experience, ordering flowers online can be nerve-wracking because you never know what you’re going to get. I ordered the Dawn bouquet (top photos) for myself, and then a week later, Diana sent me the Bonfire bouquet (bottom photos). Both bouquets arrived on my doorstep in the morning, perfectly packaged in a black box with detailed instructions on how to preserve them. Each bouquet lasted about two whole weeks, much longer than your average grocery store bouquet. Color me impressed.

Moral of the story: the next time you need to order flowers, go big or go home with The Bouqs. You can use promo code WELCOME15 for 15% off your first order plus free shipping!

(If you want to just order flowers for yourself, nobody’s judging.)

(Also: my first order from The Bouqs arrived on October 3rd and I promptly went into labor. So, maybe their flowers are good luck for pregnant women? Worth a shot.)
